What has producer/artist Danger Mouse been up to lately? He’s been recording under his real name Brian Burton with James Mercer, lead singer/ guitarist for the Shins. Meet The Broken Bells.  broken-bells

The pair met at at a music festival back in 2004 and discovered they were fans of  one another’s work. This lead to secret recording sessions in Danger Mouse’s studios and the result? An album called The Broken Bells, which will be out March 9.

Until then, enjoy the first single off the album, The High Road.
