Ford is introducing it's new police car in 2011.  It's a Ford Taurus and it actually looks pretty sporty:I've seen a few undercover Dodge Chargers on the road pulling people over on the Beltline.  If you're going to get pulled, I think it's way better to get pulled over by something  sporty.  All this conversation about police [...]

I love the Kinks and I always have, so when I heard that Ray Davies was going to play the Riviera Theater in Chicago,  I was there!

We were lucky enough to get seats in the first row of the balcony so I didn’t have to stand for the whole show. Being only 5 feet tall, I never get to see anything if I stand in the crowd, so it was a great thing to have seats.

Ray Davies looks fantastic and the crowd, made up of aging baby boomers and young hipsters loved him. It’s hard to hear the music of the Kinks and not sing along, but it didn’t matter because he kept asking us to sing all night! ( Lola is playing on the radio RIGHT NOW! ) anyway…. I digress. Of course he did Lola, but I was most excited to hear ” I’m Not Like Everybody Else” and ” Dead End Street”. In fact, I STILL can’t get Dead End Street out of my head, so here is a fantastic video someone made to that song. Enjoy!
