We play the band Snow Patrol here at Triple M.   I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the band, but I don’t mind their music.  I guess that’s not much of an endorsement, but maybe I’ll start liking their music  a lot more because it  might start sounding better.

Why?

Apparently, lead singer Gary Lightbody has been performing with a dislocated jaw for the last eight years!!!  Ouch!    Back in 2003, Lightbody fell down some stairs at a nightclub in Scotland.  He admits that he was rather rude to the hospital staff and they just wanted him out so they didn’t do any x-rays.  What’s amazing to me is that it’s taken him this long to figure it out.

It kinda reminds me of Steve Martin’s old comedy bit where he talks about having a horrible headache and he can’t figure out why.  Of course, the picture explains it all.
