Ford is introducing it’s new police car in 2011. It’s a Ford Taurus and it actually looks pretty sporty:

I’ve seen a few undercover Dodge Chargers on the road pulling people over on the Beltline. If you’re going to get pulled, I think it’s way better to get pulled over by something sporty.

All this conversation about police cars reminds me of a classic scene from the Blues Brothers where Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) has just picked up Jake (John Belushi) from prison. Apparently, Elwood traded the Blues Mobile for a microphone and had to get some new wheels. He bought an old police car. Jake is not that impressed at first…
