Put your talent where your mouth is with Triple M’s first-ever reality show: Project M. It will start with 10 of Madison’s finest musicians. Each week the artists will be given a challenge and will return the next week to perform that challenge. And each week, one artist will be asked to pack their guitar case and leave the stage. At the end, there’ll be just one left – will it be you? If it is, one of your songs will be placed in regular rotation on Triple M for one month! Plus, you will have the opportunity to get one-on-one career advice from an Atlantic Records A&R Rep and then open for an Atlantic Records artist coming through Madison in the next year!

Meet the Artists Here

And now the moment you’ve been waiting for…the first episode of Project M! It basically covers the first meeting of the artists, we snapped some photos, got their bios (which will be updated on our site later today) and gave them their first challenge:

As a musician it’s your job to win over the crowd. Sometimes you’ve got to do it quickly. You’re the opening act with 30 minutes on stage. Your new CD just landed in the hands of the most important reviewer on the staff of Rolling Stone Magazine- she’ll decide if she likes it within the first 30 seconds of the first song.

We’ll give you a little more time than that. But not much. Your challenge for the first week of Project M…The Triple M Reality Show- is to write and perform an original song no longer than 2 minutes.

intro Everyone involved is very excited and we think it’s going to add up to some great competition. Can’t wait to hear what they come up with!

I hear you play Lucas Cates’ recording for 105.5 to the tune of his song. Usually you play a song by the artist after that. Will you play more of his new CD when he wins some MAMAS for it?
