New Blues Mobile?
Ford is introducing it's new police car in 2011.  It's a Ford Taurus and it actually looks pretty sporty:I've seen a few undercover Dodge Chargers on the road pulling people over on the Beltline.  If you're going to get pulled, I think it's way better to get pulled over by something  sporty.  All this conversation about police [...]

"Alex Chilton"
He recorded "The Letter" with The Box Tops when he was just 16.  He went on to sing for the critically acclaimed but commercially unsuccessful band Big Star.  He influenced LOTS of the artists you love on Triple M, including R.E.M, Garbage, Wilco and The Replacements.  He was due to play SXSW this weekend in [...]

Meet the Artists Here

And now the moment you’ve been waiting for…the first episode of Project M! It basically covers the first meeting of the artists, we snapped some photos, got their bios (which will be updated on our site later today) and gave them their first challenge:

As a musician it’s your job to win over the crowd. Sometimes you’ve got to do it quickly. You’re the opening act with 30 minutes on stage. Your new CD just landed in the hands of the most important reviewer on the staff of Rolling Stone Magazine- she’ll decide if she likes it within the first 30 seconds of the first song.

We’ll give you a little more time than that. But not much. Your challenge for the first week of Project M…The Triple M Reality Show- is to write and perform an original song no longer than 2 minutes.

introEveryone involved is very excited and we think it’s going to add up to some great competition. Can’t wait to hear what they come up with!

  8. I hear you play Lucas Cates’ recording for 105.5 to the tune of his song. Usually you play a song by the artist after that. Will you play more of his new CD when he wins some MAMAS for it?
